Description - Full-time Dual Enrollment College Program available to juniors and seniors.
Qualifications Must have a 3.0 unweighted GPA.
Must have good attendance. Any exceptions must be approved by the school principal.
Location- The dual enrollment program will take place mainly at the high school. All courses will be taught by ACM instructors or ACPS instructors who have been vetted to teach the college course. It may be necessary to take a course on the ACM campus. However, if a student is unable to take a course on the campus, he/she should talk to the school counselor and/or college coach.
How/When - 2023 and 2024 school years- Students need to know that grades will be part of the high school and college history. Failing grades will negatively affect the high school and college GPA. Students must pass the college courses in order to meet high school graduation requirements. Any student earning a D or lower in a course will not receive college credit. Students will not be allowed to retake courses for the program. ACM staff will share the student's academic progress with ACPS staff throughout the school year.
Transportation- Any transportation requirements on the ACM campus will be provided by the parent/student.
Tuition Costs- Free Tuition and textbooks during Grade 11 and/or Grade 12 as long as a student is in good standing in the Teacher Education program.
