4th Biennial BCS Career Day
The purpose of the BCS Proud Dads-sponsored Career Day (scheduled for Friday, May 8, 2020 from 12:30-3:20 PM) is to expose our students to a variety of future career path opportunities as well as express the importance, value and need of all honorable work.  BCS, and Birmingham Public Schools, supports a careers curriculum and our Career Day will be tied to this curriculum. Please complete this form by Wednesday, March 25, 2020.

We need Dads and Moms, other loved ones, and friends/colleagues of yours to participate in the following capacities:

LIVE PRESENTER – Opportunity to speak to one or more groups about your career including: what you actually do, how it impacts the community or society, what education and experience is needed for your career, what other career individuals do you interact with as a part of your job (i.e. A Realtor works with building trade contractors, bankers, inspectors, environmental scientists, advertising and marketing professionals, etc.), what you enjoy about it, how you decided to pursue your career and some interesting facts most people may not know about your career

3-5 MINUTE VIDEO – Have your child(ren) make a video (3-5 min) of you that answers any or all the above questions listed under Live Presenter.  Feel free to have your child edit the video based on video editing apps you may have available on your device.
