As we all have discovered, making plans for the future is more difficult than it used to be!  In fact, the only thing that seems to be certain these days is that things will change!  With that understanding, please bear with us and try to answer our questions about Summer 2022.  

Our APPLICATION will only take a few minutes.  

We do not want our APPLICATION to create any confusion so here is some background:

VMSRA2022 will be offered for refugee and immigrant students ages 5-12 July 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28  from 7am to 12noon at McShan Elementary, 8307 Meadow Rd.

👀 Schedule for IN PERSON AND ON LINE AT MCSHAN -
McShan will be open for students 7am to 1pm.  
There must be TWO adult leaders per classroom (at least one in physical person, and the second can be via Zoom), at least ONE Collegiate/High School Leader per classroom, and one Assistant Youth Leader (middle school)
From 7am to 8am, students have breakfast and body and brain warm up via gym, puzzles and games.  
At 8am classes begin and run to 11:30 when lunch is served.  
Adult Leaders are asked to serve 7:45am to 12noon Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursdays.
We will offer language learning, gardening, a trip to the new VM Library,  soccer, drama, and art.

Youth Leaders /Assistant Youth Leaders supervise 7am to 8am Breakfast, Brain and Body Warm Up.
Adult Tutors are asked to arrive not later than 7:45am to prepare for class and to pick up their class members in the gym/cafeteria.
Adult Tutors are asked not to leave campus until all students have had lunch, so as to supervise lunch.
Youth Leaders supervise students 12noon to bus leave or parent pick up.  

👀 Schedule for INDEPENDENT VIRTUAL TUTORING will be similar to past two summers -- Tutors arrange schedules with parents and deliver minimum of 12 provided lesson plans OUTSIDE VMSRA2022 HOURS OF OPERATION.

NOTE:  We understand that all answers are to the best of your knowledge at this time & may change!  THIS IS NOT A CONTRACT, BUT WE DO NEED TO MAKE PLANS BASED ON YOUR RESPONSES.
