Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,

The STAAR tests will be on the following dates:

Tuesday April 6th: English 1 (9th grade)
Thursday April 8th: English 2 (10th grade)
Wednesday May 5th: Biology (9th grade)
Tuesday May 11th: US History (11th grade)
Tuesday May 18th: Algebra 1 (9th grade)

Passing the STAAR tests is a MANDATORY EOC REQUIREMENT FOR GRADUATION. If you cannot take the STAAR test this year because of Covid-19, you will have to take it again next year.

If you miss the test on the above mentioned test dates, due to health issues, transportation or other reasons, I will invite you to one of the make-up dates.

The students have to report to campus at 8:30am, the STAAR test starts at 9am, until 1-2pm (including lunch, provided by the school).
- Students that are sick or waiting for test results cannot come to school
- Temperature will be checked before entering the building
- Students will be testing with 6 foot social distancing
- All students and staff will be wearing face masks at all times
- Students can go home when they are done with the test

The STAAR test has to be taken in person, in school. There is no option to take the STAAR test at home.

Los estudiantes tienen que presentarse en el campus a las 8:30 a. M., La prueba STAAR comienza a las 9 a. M., Hasta las 1 a. 2 p. M. (Incluido el almuerzo, proporcionado por la escuela).
- Los estudiantes que están enfermos o esperando los resultados de las pruebas no pueden venir a la escuela.
- Se comprobará la temperatura antes de entrar al edificio.
- Los estudiantes tomarán la prueba con una distancia social de 6 pies.
- Todos los estudiantes y el personal usarán máscaras faciales en todo momento.
- Los estudiantes pueden irse a casa cuando hayan terminado con la prueba.

La prueba STAAR debe tomarse en persona, en la escuela. No existe la opción de realizar la prueba STAAR en casa.
