Last year we brought you Black in Dearborn, a campaign sponsored by Downtown Dearborn Development Authority. We looked at professions, residents, and community leaders and their roles in the city of Dearborn, 2021 and beyond.
Now, with the support of the Community Foundation of Southeast Michigan we are in the next phase of documenting “Truth and Reconciliation of Dearborn’s History: How It Impacts Community Safety Today. As we reimagine community policing as healthy, whole and commendable experiences for all, we are collecting oral stories and hosting listening sessions.
We invite you to share your stories and interactions with the Dearborn Police Department
Join us for our listening sessions. Signup to share your story. Share your solutions. Be a legacy maker with H2BE Dearborn.
2022 “Truth and Reconciliation of Dearborn’s History: How It Impacts Community Safety Today" is funded by Community Policing Innovation Initiative of the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan.
