What is the Spring Festival?
A slimmed down version of our usual Go Play NW Online event, the Spring Festival will be a free, 2-day only, online event hosted on the Go Play NW Discord Server. The Spring Festival will only feature donut games (i.e. no scheduled games or featured facilitators) and will be open to anyone on the Discord Server.
When is the Spring Festival happening?
Volunteers we're looking for
- Friendly Faces -- Help us welcome folks to the event, answer questions posted to public channels, and be an all around positive force that gets folks excited to play some games.
- Tech Team* -- Run the event behind the scenes, answering support tickets, provide general guidance for using Discord, and help manage our game sign-up lists during the Donut.
- Donut MCs* -- Take to the stage as our event ringleader by facilitating the Donut.
- Donut Assistants -- Keep our Donuts running smoothly by supporting our Donut MCs.
Volunteer Requirements
This is a virtual event. Event volunteers must have a reliable internet connection and a Discord account. Event volunteers involved with the donut (Donut Assistants, Donut MCs, and Tech Team) must have a working speaker and microphone and should plan on using a laptop or desktop as it is difficult to properly facilitate the donut on a mobile device.
Some volunteer roles (marked with a *) will need to go through an additional vetting process.
