This  in-person workshop frames consent beyond sexualized interactions and focuses on consent as a necessary parallel practice for all of our relations and interactions. With an emphasis on empathy, this workshop promotes positive and healthy relationships by building understanding for others- whether you are inviting someone to engage in an intimate activity or refusing the invitation. We ask, how can we work individually and collectively to hold space for awkward and difficult feelings to invite safer connections? Participants will leave with actionable steps they can take to promote consent and create communities of care.
