*The Purpose of Girl's Night: A Brief Disclaimer.*
Kelsey and Natalie are Christian women who read the Bible and will tackle literally any "taboo" topic with a Christian perspective. We believe God has made each and every girl in our youth group to be beautiful, creative, loving, utterly fantastic women! But this world of sin hates that, and is actively trying to kill them. The biggest killer of the teenager? Isolation. So before the devil can feed lies that they're worthless, or no one has ever struggled with THAT, or no one could possibly love them if they're going through THAT, we beat sin to it: We talk about it. We break the silence. We share our stories of depression and addiction and loneliness, love, and ultimately redemption through Christ, and teach the girls not only are THEY lovable, but it is precisely for these reasons that Jesus died on the cross for them. We give them language to better express what's going on inside, and in doing so they become better listeners with each other, and can grow up in a community of fellow girls-becoming-women who ALSO know they are loved and cherished by God. And also there is strawberries and cream.
