Questionnaire for the development of Continental User Interface Platform (UiP)
Dear user of Climate and Weather information,
The African Center of Meteorological Applications for Development (ACMAD) is a recipient grantee of funding from the European Commission (EC), through a major 6-year intra-ACP Climate Services and Applications Programme (ClimSA) Project. The project aims to foster sustainable development by combating climate change through strengthening climate service value chain. This will be achieved through enhanced access to climate information and providing user-friendly climate services that will help decision makers at all levels, including end users, in a wide range of sectors including agriculture and food security, disaster risk reduction, sustainable water and health. In line with this objective, and the need for creation of a vibrant Continental User Interface Platform (UiP) for climate services, ACMAD is administering this questionnaire to assist creation of this  UiP to:
a) Enhance interaction between users and producers of climate and weather services.
b) Improve provision, access and use of climate and weather services.
c) Capacity building to enhance uptake of climate and weather information and products.
d) Influence mainstreaming of climate and weather services in decision making.

Data and information created will be used to improve climate and weather services in Africa and guide the creation of continental user interface platform, initially concentrating on the following key sectors:
Agriculture
Disaster Risk Reduction
Health
Water Resources

ACMAD would like to thank you for spending time to fill this questionnaire.  All information provided will be anonymized and handled with strict confidentiality.

If you have any questions, please get in touch with us at contact@acmad.org. Please take a few minutes complete the survey - we look forward to your responses.
