Data Security and Protection Toolkit for Social Care
The Data Security & Protection Toolkit (DSPT) is a self-assessment tool that helps health and care organisations to keep people’s information safe and to demonstrate that they practice good data security.

Following extensive user testing and feedback from care providers a new version of the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT), specifically designed to meet the needs of adult social care providers, is being launched in October 2020. This will be supplemented with a programme of national and local support called 'Better Security, Better Care, which will be tailored to the requirements of the sector.

We would be grateful for any feedback you have by responding to the questions below, this will help us to further refine the support available to social care providers.
