Are you passionate about the tourism industry and want to share your story?

Join us as Destination Northern Ontario launches Tourism Rocks, an industry-wide effort to promote tourism careers, and to elevate the public's knowledge of tourism as an economic driver and job creator.
The goal is to build a strong tourism workforce while improving the perception of the tourism sector as a viable, life-long career choice, ultimately filling the growing labour gap the industry faces now and in the coming years.

The Tourism Rocks campaign is focused on recruiting indigenous youth, secondary, post-secondary and transitional job seekers into Northern Ontario’s tourism Industry.

Your role as a Tourism Rocks Industry Ambassador will be to share your own story of how you found your way to the tourism industry and what you love about your job.

How you can be part of the Ambassador Program:

Tell your story
By creating a short video for the campaign you can share your own story of how and why you came to be in the tourism industry.  

Actively promote tourism industry as a career locally
We will train you and provide the tools and resources you need to speak with potential job seekers, educational and employment services staff.
