We are seeking 75 minute session topics as they relate to land acquisition, outdoor accessibility, the future of open space, climate change, natural resources management/stewardship, forest health/wildfire mitigation, nature and public health benefits/wellness, partnerships/grants, public outreach and communications, environmental education, ranger roles and responsibilities, recreation management and visitor management.
Proposals are due by 5 pm on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Please fill out the form completely as all questions are required.
2024 Session Proposal Tips:
- Session proposals with multiple agency/org partners are highly encouraged. We are looking for multifaceted discussions from different vantage points.
- To provide a low-cost conference for all attendees, COSA does not waive fees for presenters. If you are planning to include guest speakers from outside organizations, especially non-profit or community-based organizations, please consider covering their conference registration fees.
- Understand that all your speakers are giving a live presentation. Make certain your speakers can convey the information without reading from presentation slides.
As a reminder, session presenters are not automatically registered for the conference. All presenters must register for the 2024 conference separately when registration opens. Conference fees are NOT waived for presenters.
