This Grant Writing for Artists workshop will provide an overview of the grant research and application process for individual artists. The workshop is geared toward visual artists, but the majority of the information applies to artists working in all fields. The instructor will present information on what types of grants are available to artists, how to research what grant is right for each individual, best practices for writing grants, and tips and tricks on creating successful applications.

The is a hybrid workshop – artists located outside of the LA area can join remotely over Zoom. A Zoom link will be sent the day before the workshop for online attendees.

All workshop participants will receive handouts of materials presented during the workshop, including resources for researching grants and paid artist residencies.
