1. Complete and submit this application for our local UC San Diego Psi Chi chapter.
2. Complete and
submit the application for the
International Psi Chi Honors Society. For “Local Chapter,” select “University of California, San Diego.”
IMPORTANT: You MUST complete both the (1) UCSD Psi Chi Chapter AND (2) International Psi Chi Honors Society applications to be considered for a full Psi Chi membership. Failure to complete and submit both applications during the same application cycle will result in a denial of membership, even if you meet membership requirements.
3. Once your (1) local UCSD chapter application is approved, you will receive a welcome email from our chapter Membership Coordinator.
4. Once you have completed the online (2) Psi Chi International Honors Society application, it is approved by our chapter advisor, and an induction date will be set on your account. Then the Psi Chi International Headquarters Office in Chattanooga, Tennessee will send you an automated email including a payment link asking you to make payment electronically to become an official member of the international honors organization. Do NOT pay your registration fee until your application has been approved!
5. Once payment is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email from the Psi Chi International Headquarters Office. If you would like a Psi Chi International Membership certificate, you will have to purchase one through the Psi Chi International Headquarters Office for a separate fee.
Please Note: There is an annual $25 chapter due for all Psi Chi/Psychology Club members.
Please make sure this is paid via Venmo (@UCSDPsiChi) or Zelle (psichi@ucsd.edu), you must include your full name, ucsd email address, and that it's for chapter dues in the payment notes. Cash is also acceptable at in-person GBMs or office hours to the treasurer.
