**Unpaid entries will not be included in the Draws.

Entry fee: $55 per event, $70 for two events. 

**Early bird: $40 for one event, $55 for two events, must be registered before April 30 at 11:00pm EDT. 

Events will be held in Girls’ Singles and Boys’ Singles, Girls’ Doubles, Boys'Doubles for U13 & U17. 

Consolations will be held for all competitors defeated in their first-round match of the Main Event. It will be the responsibility of each athlete to notify the Draw Desk, within 10 minutes of their opening round defeat.

1. U13 Ontario Junior A & U17 Ontario Junior B & C players are allowed to participate in the U17 event.

2. U13 Ontario Junior B & C Players can participate in the U13 event. 

U13 : born in 2012 or later

U17 : born in 2008 or later

Withdrawal before the registration is closed will be partially refunded via eTransfer(less administration fee of $15)

Refunds will not be provided for withdrawals after the registration is closed.

In the case of an injury before the tournament starts, refunds are provided less a 25% administration fee. A physician’s letter or medical certificate must be provided.

Medals, rackets and other prizes for winners, finalists, third place finishers and consolation winners.

1. All matches in the main round will be two (2) out of three (3) games to 21 points with rally point scoring extended to 30 points.

2. Athletes may choose if they want to play in the consolation round and must confirm their participation to the draw desk immediately after their first round of each discipline. 

3. Athletes will be provided 2 minutes to warm up before their games start. Athletes failing to report on courts for their match within 10 minutes of the match being announced will be defaulted. No additional warm up time will be allotted for players arriving late.

The Participant (and the Participant’s parent/guardian if applicable) authorize Paragon Badminton Academy, the organizer, to collect and use personal information about the Participant for the purpose of receiving communications and the purposes described in each Organization’s policies related to privacy.

The Participant (and the Participant’s parent/guardian, if applicable) grants permission to the Organization to photograph and/or record the Participant’s image and/or voice on still or motion picture film and/or audio tape, and to use this material to promote the sport, the Organization, and/or the Organization’s Activities through social media, newsletters, websites, television, film, radio, print and/or displays. The Participant (or the Participant’s parent/guardian, if applicable) understands that they waive any claim to remuneration for use of audio/visual materials used for these purposes. Permission may be withdrawn at any time by contacting either Organization’s Privacy Officer. The Privacy Officer will advise the implications of such withdrawal.

All participants assume all risks, damages, and loss during the tournaments.

Players will need to present themselves at the front desk with their guardian during sign-in. 

Paragon Badminton Academy, the organizer, reserves the right to make modifications to the tournament without prior notice.
