We live in a digital and graphic world. Nowhere is that more evident than in the marketing, advertising and promotional landscape retailers – both large and small – must contend with today. Fifteen, twenty years ago, shop owners in downtowns like Great Neck could rely on foot traffic, advertising in local papers and maybe some couponing. NOT TODAY. If you do not have strong social media presence and an engaging website, preferably with e-commerce capabilities, you are at a competitive disadvantage.
The Great Neck Plaza Business Improvement District is excited to make available to you a special digital photography workshop being offered by the photographic experts at CANON USA. CANON, as you are aware, are makers of some of the finest photographic equipment available to both the avocational as well as professional photographer. They have also introduced affordable printing equipment that makes possible the production of store window posters, pamphlets and other marketing materials in-house.
We are looking to schedule this workshop in late October. The workshop can be scheduled either in the morning from 8AM to 10am, or in the evening from 6pm to 8pm. The workshop will cover:
Photographic techniques for creating engaging photographs for social media and website use
Different lighting techniques for product and food photography
Setting up a pop-up photo studio in your store or home
ATTENDANCE IS LIMITED TO 10-12 STORE OWNERS PER WORKSHOP
