This 2-days European seminar will take place on 4 & 5 February 2020.
This first day will present instruments to answer the environmental concerns related to deep geothermal energy projects that are operational or under development in Europe. The discussions will be based on the preliminary results of the GEOENVI project and the final conclusions of the EC tender: “Study on Geothermal plants’ and applications’ emissions: overview and analysis”, conducted by the Ernst&Young, RINA and VITO, which aim at setting an adapted methodology for assessing environmental impacts and risks of geothermal projects. The event will also debate the latest development in terms of environmental regulations and sustainable finance regulations at European level.
The following day will continue discussing environmental concerns and it will be concluded by two workshops: an Industry workshop on reference plants and assets, and ETIP-DG session.
The event is free of charge but registration is compulsory. Please register below for the different sessions.
