String Instrument Rental Form 23-24
Students enrolled in orchestra without an instrument at home may rent one from the school. Students selected for this privilege must abide by the following regulations:

1. Be active in rehearsals regularly, practice at home, and complete all class assignments.
2. Participate in all performances scheduled for his/her ensemble. (If a student should be absent, he/she must follow classroom rules to be excused from the concert).
3. Maintain a grade average minimum of “C” in strings class each grading period.
4. Demonstrate reasonable care of the instrument issued.

Parents are responsible for maintenance of this instrument, which generally includes string breakage, rosin, and bow repair. Greenville County expects reasonable care to be exercised while this instrument is under contract.

In addition to the responsibilities listed above, the rental fee will be $50 per semester for any stringed instrument. Payment can be done online via My School Bucks or in person with cash or check. Checks should be made out to Fisher Middle School. If you agree to the requirements above, your child will be issued an instrument once one becomes available.

By signing this contract, you are indicating intent to abide by the regulations for use of a school-owned instrument. All school instruments are property of the School District of Greenville County. Violations of the regulations above or a lack of proper care for the instrument may be subject to withdrawal of the instrument.

PARENTS AND GUARDIANS (not the student) should fill out the following form and submit.
