The University of North Alabama Department of Music is excited to host a Virtual Honor Choir in two parts in January 2021!
Teachers will register up to 12 singers per school (grades 9-12) in sections as balanced as possible.
We will perform only one song: Joshua Rist's Invictus (Pepper #10342952).
Students will meet as a class on Tuesday 12 January from 10 a.m. - noon on Zoom with Dr. Loeppky for an online rehearsal. This time also includes an introduction to the vocal-choral music program at UNA, with special faculty guest speakers. Zoom link:

Students will listen to a recording on one device (like a laptop) with headphones while recording their singing on a second device (usually their phone) as a video file. These students will upload this file to a shared Google folder (a full tutorial on this and the Google folder link to be provided later).
Full video recording of this virtual choir performance will be provided two weeks after this date to all participants.
Registration is due on Monday 11 January. There is NO registration fee!
