Title: Substance Abuse and Mental Health in a Post Pandemic World: Grounding Ourselves in Collective Care and Safe and Supportive Environments

Speakers: Sara Burd, M.A., R.D.T., Director of Social Emotional Learning and Guidance, Arlington Public Schools; Michelle D. Lipinski, M.Ed., Principal, Northshore Recovery High School; Patrick Tutwiler, Ph.D.,  Superintendent, Lynn Public Schools

Description: In a nourishing, in person event, join our facilitators as we model a variety of practices in building safe and supportive environments amid the mental health wave of post COVID times.  Motivational interviewing techniques, ACEs, and how trauma impacts the brain are components of this conference along with real time practices that will bolster individual and collective wellbeing and take a public health approach to meeting the mental health needs of our student body.
