2024 MCEC Entrepreneurial Classroom Nomination Application
Deadline: Nominations for the 20th annual Entrepreneurial Classroom must be electronically submitted by January 9, 2024 at midnight/12:00am EST. An Exhibitors booth will be available on February 29 and March 1, 2024 and a presentation will be at the 84th Annual MCEC Conference Reception on Thursday, February 29, 2024.

Background: One of the highlights of the MCEC Conference is the inclusion of the Entrepreneurial Classroom. This honor is awarded to a classroom that prepares students to enter the community not only in their ability to make and sell a product, but also in the development of their social skills.

The winning classroom enterprise is provided: a booth in our exhibition hall to sell their product; up to two hotel rooms on Thursday night to accommodate the sponsor(s) and student representatives; as well as expenses for travel. Lunch for participants is provided by MCEC. Any food items produced by the enterprise cannot be sold in the hotel but donations are acceptable. MCEC expects students to participate at the booth.

Examples of the products made by this enterprise (that may also be included with this application) will become part of the Thursday afternoon raffle. Proceeds from the raffle go to the Student CEC.
