This funding is intended for students who are ineligible for The Graduate School Conference Travel Award. Eligible students are those who have not yet taken the Preliminary Exam . Composers may apply to attend a performance of their music.  Students may not receive both funding from The Graduate School and The Department of Music for the same conference.  Preference is given to pre-Preliminary students, however post-Preliminary students may also apply for conferences where they are not presenting.
