AB 267: Sign-on to Support No Toxics Tent Act
This session, Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer-Kahan (D-16 San Ramon) introduced AB 267 as part of her Clean California package for this session. Currently, under the California State Fire Marshall's code, there is a 45 year old law that requires tent manufacturers to put fire retardants in children's play, camping, and backpacking tents. These fire retardants are carcinogens and harmful for humans. We're sending it upon Sacramento to get this requirement taken out of law. We're not looking to ban it, but are asking that the requirement is taken out for tents with an occupancy of 14 or less. AB 267 promotes a healthier opportunity for California's outdoor participants and allows our industry to be more environmentally sustainable. AB 267 has gained momentum and is heading to the California State Senate Floor!

Let's get this bill passed out of the Senate and on to the Governor's desk, Team CORP! Fill out the below form to submit your company's support for AB 267.
