Camp Kidston - CIT Application - Summer 2023
Welcome!  

There are three steps to register for the CIT Program:

1- An online registration must be completed by a parent/guardian (on or after Feb. 1st). This can be completed on Kidston's online registration system, located at campkidston.campbrainregistration.com. Registration fills quickly, so we recommend registering as soon as possible!

2- All CITs are required to fill out this brief application form (this must be filled out by the CIT, not a family member or friend!).  Please DO consult with a parent/guardian regarding dates you are available this summer. 

3 - All CITs will be invited for a short interview on Zoom.  We will discuss the CIT program and ask a few questions about the applicant.  This is great, low-pressure practice for future job applications (at camp or elsewhere)!  

We ask that written applications are submitted within two weeks of online registration.  We aim to schedule CIT interviews in early March, and aim to have confirmed extra volunteer weeks back to families by late March. 

We review all applications to ensure that CITs are a good fit for this leadership program. While it is rare, should we feel that an applicant is not yet ready for the CIT program, we will reach out directly to the applicant and their parent/guardian (and any fees paid will be refunded).

All CITs are invited to volunteer with cabins following the initial CIT Leadership Week.  You can volunteer for 1-6 weeks, depending on your interests (and at no extra cost).  We do our best to coordinate schedules to optimize everyone's preferred weeks, however, please note that we may not be able to accommodate all requests.
