Eligibility *
The Young Film Programmers scheme is open to applicants aged 16-25 and living in the North of England. You should be based in one of the following areas: Cheshire, County Durham, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, Northumberland, North and North East Lincolnshire, Tees Valley, Tyne and Wear, Yorkshire and the Humber.

Taking part in the Young Programmers scheme is free. As places are limited, we ask that participants are able to commit to the key meeting dates outlined in the programme schedule. Meetings will take place on zoom unless otherwise specified. If selected, participants who do not engage with the programme will be ineligible for any placements organised as part of the scheme through BFI Film Academy.
