If the District adopts the new state Covid 19 testing program, we would provide a set of two at home rapid antigen tests bi-weekly to each child who signs up to participate.  Participating staff members will also receive bi-weekly test kits.  All members of the Norfolk School Community participating in the optional rapid testing program will be asked to test weekly on Wednesdays.  Parents would only report test results to the school nurse if their child tests positive.  This testing program would help our community to identify positive Covid 19 cases and support students and staff members with quarantine and isolation guidance to further prevent the potential for in school transmission.  At this time we are seeking to gauge community interest in this program prior to finalizing our decision.  Please take a minute to complete the very brief two item survey below to indicate whether or not your family would be interested in participating in the optional at home rapid testing program.
