-----------
Sápmi Pride is following safer space guidelines in every event location. Every attendee, performer, organizer, guest should follow this guidelines.

These common principles exist to create a safer and better environment for all:

1. Never assume consent. Ask, respect the answer you receive, and apologise when needed.
2. Consent goes to everything - do not touch, hug, take pictures of anyone without their permission (unless it’s an emergency, such as a threatening situation). Avoid using perfumes.
2. Never assume or make a value judgement of the identity, sexuality, gender, pronoun, health or sickness, ability, relationship status or background of others.
If you know someone’s pronouns and notice people using wrong pronouns, please help with correcting them.
3. Respect the opinions, beliefs, experiences, and personal space of each other.
No racism, sexisim, queerphobia, transphobia, homofobia, biphobia, ableism, etc.
4. Act with positive intent and take care of each other. Taking care of each other means also taking care of yourself.
5. Be aware of your prejudices, privileges, behaviour, and the space you occupy. Give others space to move, retreat, and take distance. Remember, for whom this event is organized.
6. Don’t out anyone.
If something doesn’t feel right to you, you’re always allowed to speak up. If you notice any harassment or discriminating behaviour, please speak up or share your concerns with our staff. It is our duty to listen and take action. You are free to leave the event at any time.

HARASSMENT, DISCRIMINATION & INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOUR
Everyone has different ideas of what constitutes inappropriate behaviour, and defining such behaviour unambiguously is impossible. The fact that a person feels that they have been treated inappropriately and wants the matter to be addressed is reason enough to address it.
All behaviour that creates an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating, or offensive environment for another person is considered harassment.
