You are invited to the “AI4Business research seminar” in room E140 on the 13th of March 2024 from 12h00 to 13h00. We aim to bring together BEW scholars (from PhD students to full Professors, and everything in-between) with a keen interest in AI/ML.
It’s Not (General) Intelligence … its functionality
Since the emergence of ChatGPT, the press has been full of discussions and fear that General Artificial Intelligence (GEN AI) is emerging and is of great danger to humanity. This discussion focuses on the narrow areas of accounting and auditing and discusses where what is called these days “Artificial Intelligence” (AI), and shows its capabilities, limitations, and prospective progress. Based on this scenario, it discusses a more generic view for the near future that may be extrapolated to other areas.
For the second part of the seminar we will aim for interaction and discussion. Kicking off with some AI-related statements and questions, we invite you to join us and share your ideas and insights for AI-related research in the domain of Business Economics.
