Friday, April 8th at 7:00pm | Saturday, April 9th at 7:00pm | Sunday, April 10th at 2:00pm

Audition & Callback Dates:
Use the audition link under the “FHS Spring 2022 Musical” page on the website to sign-up for an audition time slot on one of the following days:

Tuesday, November 30th from 5:30pm-8:30pm | Wednesday, December 1st from 5:30pm-8:30pm

Students invited for a callback will be notified via email the evening of their audition and will need to be available on Thursday, December 2nd from 5:30pm-8:00pm.

Audition Protocols:
To ensure the audition process runs smoothly and efficiently, we ask that you arrive to your scheduled time at least ten minutes in advance with the electronic “Sound of Music Audition Form” already completed. Be sure you have disclosed all known conflicts/prior commitments and formally submitted the form. For the audition itself, you will be asked to perform the following:  
1.) Vocal Component: sing 16-32 measures of a musical theatre/Disney song of your choosing. You will be responsible for providing the title and instrumental/karaoke link to the track/song you will be using for this portion of the audition.
2.) Acting Component: read 30-60 seconds worth of a dramatic/comedic monologue of your choosing  

While you are not required/expected to memorize your scene or song, you are welcome to do so as a means of getting into character and illustrating your highest quality performance. As mentioned above, you are welcome to make selections of your own, however, we ask that you avoid pieces from The Sound of Music for your audition. Should you need song/monologue suggestions or materials, please reference the “Optional Audition Materials” packet.
