The Rite of Election celebrates God's call to baptism. For those preparing to receive the sacraments of baptism, confirmation and first communion this
Easter Vigil, April 8, 2023, this is a
required rite. It marks the final stage of preparation for the catechumens who will celebrate the Sacraments of Initiation.
Please fill out this survey by February 6, 2023. After completing this survey, parish contact persons will receive email updates with instructions. Your response is needed even if you do not have any catechumens ready for this year. The information submitted is used for the National USCCB report.

El Rito de elección celebra el llamado de Dios al bautismo.
Este rito es un requisito para todos los que están preparándose a recibir los sacramentos de bautismo, primera comunión y confirmación en esta vigilia pascual (
8 de abril del 2023). El rito marca el paso final para los catecúmenos que se prepararan a recibir los sacramentos de iniciación.
Favor de enviar sus respuestas antes del 6 de febrero del 2023, aun cuando su parroquia no tenga catecúmenos para el rito de elección. Al recibir su respuesta le enviaremos un correo electrónico con instrucciones para el rito de elección. Su respuesta a esta encuesta nos ayuda a obtener un conteo completo para el reporte nacional de USCCB.
