READ THIS PARAGRAPH:  One example of a catastrophe is the COVID-19 pandemic, and there are many helpers making a difference during this time, including Michael Megonigal. Megonigal and his daughter decided that they wanted to help others during the pandemic. According to the Washington Post, one day, they were inspired to buy groceries for others who could not afford them. They ended up buying groceries for 30 people and spent almost $3,000 of their own money. This example shows that everyday people can be heroes. Megonigal was not a celebrity or doctor, but he was able to help so many people just by being generous. Everyone has the potential to be a helper and to be helped in difficult times; we just have to work together.
