Find the extra document called, "Divine Mercy."  This is a brief story about Sister Faustina from Poland who saw an image of Jesus with red and white rays shining from him.  Jesus told her that he wants people to see this image and pray to Him.  He also reminded her that God is merciful to everyone.

The white rays represent our Baptism which cleanses our soul.  The red rays symbolize the blood that Jesus shed for us during his crucifixtion.

When we pray for Divine Mercy we Ask for His Mercy daily.  We ask that Jesus Be merciful to others.  We Completely trust in his mercy, always. (The ABCs of Divine Mercy)

God has made an ocean of mercy available for all people.  Jesus wants us to think of him often.  We should say, "Jesus, I trust in You." everyday.

In 2000, St. John Paul II made Sister Faustina a saint and said that the second Sunday of Easter is Divine Mercy Sunday.
