Calling all Percy Jackson fans! The Mythology course will focus on learning about the different strands of mythology that have played an important role in the development of our world, language and customs. A familiarity with different Greek, Roman, and Norse myths is invaluable as it aids in understanding many different references and in understanding allusions in other media. Whether it is the names of the days of the week (Thor's day) or the brands of various companies (Nike, Midas) the references are ever present. Additionally, knowledge of Greek and Roman mythology will provide excellent context for faith in the first century and early Christianity.
