What is the Park Tool School?
It is a bicycle mechanics course based on the BBB-4 (Park Tool's Big Blue Book of bicycle repair 4th edition).
How much knowledge does Park Tool School require?

It's enough to know how to ride a bike, know the difference between MTB and road bikes, and be curious to learn more.

What is the level of the course content? Is it enough to be able to manage a bike shop or to work as a mechanic?
Yes. You could expect to know the terminology and understand all the correct procedures for getting a bike repaired. You could also expect to practice hands-on skills.
Are all mechanic skills for modern bicycles covered in the Park Tool School?
Yes. It covers many different types of modern MTB and road parts. And even wheel building and wheel alignment skills.
How many times per month does the Park Tool School open?
On a regular basis, it opens 2 times a month. The 1 week course opens 1st or 2nd week Monday - Friday. And the weekend course opens on 4 Saturdays. And also On Demand Course could open by requesting more than 2 people.
Can the course on demand open outside the regular course dates?
Yes. If there are more than 2 people's requests, the course can be open in the dates outside of the regular course schedule.
Can I take the course on other days if I miss some of the sessions after joining the course of full sessions?
Yes, you can. You may join the same session(s) in another open course.
Can I learn only certain topics and not the whole course?
Yes, you can. It is possible to attend the individual sessions on Saturdays. The full session consists of 4 individual sessions.

What is the difference between the Park Tool School and the Wheel Pro Build Class?
The Wheel Pro course is dedicated to in-depth wheel building and truing.
Is there an age limit for participation in the Park Tool School?
Park Tool School is open to anyone over the age of 13 who does not need an assistant.
What is the language of instruction at Park Tool School?
Since the textbook is written in English and all terminology related to bicycles is in English, the course will be taught in English.
To take the course, how much fluency in English is required?
In most cases, being able to hear and understand simple everyday conversations and bicycle parts in English is enough to follow the course.
Is there a certification upon completion of the Park Tool School?
Yes. Participants who complete the entire course will receive a certificate in the name of Park Tool.
Is 'The way bicycle.lab' an authorized Park Tool School operator?
Yes, we are. We are a registered operator with Park Tool.

Is The way bicycle.lab" taught by a certified mechanic?
Yes, it is. A certified mechanic from Bike Academy (Korea) and UBI (USA) teaches the course.
Will all the tools and the repair stand be provided in the course?
Yes, they are. Various tools from many different tool manufacturers are provided. You can get experience to use and compare them.
Do I have to buy the BBB-4 textbook to attend the course?
No. Those attending the full session will be provided with the book without having to pay extra. And to the single session participants, the book would be lent in the class.
Must I bring my bike(s) to the course?
To get to know your bike better, it's better to bring it. However, it is okay not to bring a bike if it is difficult or impossible to bring one.
Do you provide accommodation for participants who travel long distances?
No. However there are budget hotels within a 5 minute commute.
How do I sign up for the Park Tool School?
Fill in the registration form, then transfer the deposit up to 5 working days before the start of the course.
When does the remaining amount need to be paid?
The balance is due 2 days before the course starts. It can be paid in cash or by bank transfer.
Is it possible to pay with a credit card?

Sorry, we can only accept payment in cash or by bank transfer.
