We're so excited to be hosting the Market during our towns beloved Blackfalds Days, Saturday, June 18th from 12-4pm 🛍️🍿🐐 This is an outdoor market and is located in the Blackfalds Civic Culture Center parking lot. The parade ends at noon and then the rush BEGINS! Food trucks, shopping and just across the road is the kids zone!

***APPLICATION & PAYMENT PROCESS***

⚠⚠NOTE ALL APPLICATIONS FILED WILL BE ADDED TO THE WAITING LIST AS WE ARE FULLY BOOKED⚠⚠

-All applications will be reviewed and vendors will be selected based on best fit and variety.
-Please refer to the note after submitting this application for when to expect to hear a reply or market status.
-We are not accepting MLM/DS companies.
-We do not accept information or order only booths.
-Vendors booked must have stock on hand.
-Once the application is received and the review is completed, we will send out an approval email notifying your acceptance and requesting payment.  
-Once you have received the approval notification, you will have 48 hours to submit payment to secure your spot.
-Payment can be made via email money transfer (preferred) or cash.
-Any cash payments must be arranged to be dropped off with one of the organizers.
-At this time, we do not accept cheques or credit card.

***CANCELLATIONS***

-NO refunds will be issued after May 21, 2022.
-This is a come rain or shine event, no refunds will be offered if a vendor does not show up.

***COVID-19***

-The Blackfalds Market and vendors are required to adhere to applicable guidelines in place by the Government of Alberta, no exceptions. If a vendor chooses not to follow guidelines set forth by the government and seeks a refund, the standard cancellation policy will be followed.
-If the market must be cancelled due to COVID-19, 100% of your vendor fees will be transferred to the next available event.

***MARKET DETAILS, RULES & REGULATIONS***

-The market will be held outside at the Civic Culture Center in Blackfalds, located at 5018 Waghorn Street and will run from 12:00pm to 4:00PM on Saturday June 18th.
-Washrooms will be located inside the Blackfalds Civic Culture Center.
-Vendor setup is available from 10AM to 11:45PM. You must enter via Lawtown Ave back alley (we'll have a sign).
-Food truck are required to be on site between 9:00AM-9:45AM. You must enter the back parking lot of the Blackfalds Foods Bank Society via Waghorn Street. NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO ACCESS AFTER 10AM DUE TO THE PARADE RODE CLOSURES**
-Please check in with the organizers when you arrive to receive your spot information.
-All vendors (not including food trucks) MUST be onsite by 11:15AM, if not arrived by then and no contact is made with us, we will be shifting vendors or filling the spots.
-Vendors must supply their own tents, tables and chairs.
-You MUST weigh down your tent, if you do not have sufficient weights (min 25lbs per leg) you could be asked to take down your tent.
-Vendors are recommended to operate their booth from behind their vehicle.
-Spots are minimum 10x10 plus space to park your vehicle behind your tent. It is important that you tell us the approximate length and or make and model of your vehicle so we can place you accordingly.
-All vendors must be set up by 11:45AM.
-You are only permitted to sell the products approved on your vendor application. If you are changing your company or adding non related items, additional approval is required.
-Food vendors may be required to submit copies of permits and licensing. Vendors selling any type of food products must meet all Food Safety guidelines as outlined by Alberta Health Services for a Public Market. -Vendors must remain in their allotted space, with all displays, products and racks.
-Take down is not permitted until 4:00PM, early pack up can result in banishment from future shows and no refunds will be issued.
-The Blackfalds Market is not liable for losses, thefts, fires, water/wind damages, nor are we responsible for assuming risk of vendors property or materials. Vendors are expected to protect themselves through their own insurances.
-Aggression or inappropriate behavior towards any organizer, fellow vendors or customers will result in immediate removal and banishment from all future events and vendor fees will be forfeited.
