Requirements

- Is a certified referee in good standing with the Connecticut State Referee Program.
- Refereed a minimum of 5 games in the nomination year for the Tolland Soccer Club, at least 3 of which were as a center referee.
- Is 18 years of age or younger.

Responses to each of the following should be kept to a maximum of 400 words per criterion.

Proficiency - Does the referee understand and properly apply the Laws of the Game? Do they act in a professional manner? Do they take control of the game? *

Personal development - How and when did the nominated referee get involved with soccer? How has the referee’s involvement with soccer shaped his/her character? Does the referee display moral and ethical behavior on and off the field? What steps has the nominee taken to improve upon his or referee knowledge of the game? *

Any specific examples you would like to note about this referee? What have you noticed on the field? Anything that stands out compared to other referees? *
