2023-2024 LABC Council Nominations
The LABC will be holding it's elections for the next term of VP positions at the next LABC meeting on June 7th. Each term is two years. Please consider nominating or throwing your name in the hat to help serve on the council that serves our Lightridge student-athletes. Below provides the description for each vacancy.

Vice President Concessions (VPC) shall assist the President in the coordination of the Club’s activities and shall perform other duties as assigned by the President or Executive Council.  Will coordinate the operations of the concessions for the LABC. Duties of the VPC include:

  • Responsible for ensuring efficient operations of the concession stands 

  • Responsible for the purchase and inventory of all products for sale

  • Account of receipts and reporting to the treasurer 

  • Develop the concession budget and recommend pricing for products

  • Responsible for scheduling of volunteers.

Vice President Fundraising (VPF) shall assist the President in the coordination of the Club’s activities and shall perform other duties as assigned by the President or Executive Council. Will be responsible for maintaining, overseeing and coordinating with the Chair of Events and Chair of Merchandising. Duties of the VPF include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Responsible for coordinating, planning, scheduling functions, activities, event in coordination with team liaisons, coaches, faculty, staff of LHS. 

  • Coordinate all aspects of Sprit Wear within the Athletic Department

  • Responsible for solicitation of vendors

  • Maintain an inventory of spirit wear and conform to copyright rules and regulations for use of logos/designs

  • Responsible for the annual fundraising and merchandising budget.

  • He/she shall determine which events and at what venues merchandise will be available; this includes the responsibility of providing inventory and staffing for determined events

Vice President of Sponsorship & Marketing (VPSM) shall assist the President in the coordination of the Club's activities and shall perform other duties as assigned by the President or Executive Council.  In the absence of the President, the Vice President shall assume the responsibilities of that office; when so acting, he/she shall have all the powers of, and be subject to all the restrictions upon, the President. Will be responsible for maintaining, overseeing and coordinating with the Chairs for Sponsorship/Advertising and Chair for Membership. The duties of the VPSM include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Maintain a database for all past and present members of all sports

  • Compile and organize member volunteer lists including contact info and type of membership. 

  • Provide evaluation on membership levels, organize membership mailings, and other overseeing of corporate type advertising

  • Maintain funds collected for membership fees
