Thank you for your interest in our research. For each completed questionnaire we receive, we will donate £5 to Thanet Family Food Bank.

The purpose of this questionnaire is to understand how COVID-19 has affected how people based in Thanet make purchasing decisions (e.g. buying groceries, supplies, etc.,). We also want to understand how this behaviour has impacted local businesses. That’s why you will be asked questions about how and where you make purchasing decisions.

In addition, we will also ask for some sensitive information such as your gender, sexual orientation, location, ethnicity, locality and household income as this will help us to understand the general characteristics and possible needs of the Thanet community.

Your participation is voluntary and you can choose to opt out at any time. Your responses will be confidential and the information you provide will not be used in ways that would allow identification of your individual responses. Additionally, we do not collect identifying information such as your name, email address, or IP address.

All data is stored in a password protected electronic format until the end of April 2021, when the research period is over.

We respect your trust and need for privacy, and will never sell or share this data with any third parties.
