1.  Mapleview Community Centre will not be responsible for personal injuries or damages of the applicant or anyone attending the function.
2.  Mapleview Community Centre will not be responsible for the loss or theft of any articles of clothing or equipment of the applicant or anyone attending the function.
3.  The applicant is responsible to pay for the hall rental before obtaining the hall keys.
4.  The applicant shall be responsible to Mapleview Community Centre for any damage to the building or equipment and shall replace or repair said damage.  
5.  The applicant is responsible to set up tables and chairs for use during their function.  Tables and chairs are to be folded and returned to their storage location at the end of the function.  
6.  The applicant is responsible to sweep floors after function.
7.  The applicant will be responsible to remove all garbage and recycling from the hall.
8.  The contract applicant is required to ensure that all persons have safely left the premises after the function and all doors and windows are locked.
9.  Mapleview Community Centre will inspect the hall after the rental.  Security/Damage deposit will be refunded after the inspection less any amounts owed for damage, garbage left behind, etc.
10.  Regulations concerning the consumption of alcoholic beverages are according to the regulations of the Liquor Licensing Board of Ontario.  The applicant is required to obtain all necessary permits and ensure that all persons attending abide by these regulations.
11.  Covid-19 regulations concerning events, group gatherings, hall rentals,etc. are according to the Hastings Prince Edward Health Unit.  The applicant is required to be aware of and abide by current regulations as of the function date.  This could include, but is not limited to:  maximum participants, social distancing, masks, contact tracing, vaccine passports, etc.
