Truth, Healing, and Reconciliation 202: Community of Praxis Application

Thank you for applying for the CUC's Truth, Healing, and Reconciliation Community of Praxis: focused conversations about how our faith and our actions intersect.

This application will be used as a primer for the introductory meeting on January 6.

The Community of Praxis is designed for 6-8 Unitarians who have completed the Truth, Healing, and Reconciliation Reflection Guide and want to continue their learning journey into a place of personal reflection combined with action. Within the group, we will have a couple of people with more experience to help add to the conversation.

What the commitment looks like:  
Reflective writing: 30-60 mins weekly
Zoom calls: 12 hours total

- Fill out this one-page application to introduce yourself;
- Applications close Monday, December 11,  and
- Receive emailed instructions regarding acceptance and next steps by Friday, December 18
- Read the introductions of other participants using guided reflective questions to deepen understanding
- Engage in your own reflective writing on a weekly basis which will be shared with another member of the group
- Initiate your own personal connections with Indigenous peoples and communities;

- Join 6 reflective conversations and guest speakers TBA (Zoom calls)
