Sign up for the books you want to read with us this year!
Each month there will be a deadline by when you must sign up for the book. If you sign up by that time we'll purchase the book for you and you will be able to pick it up at your nearest campus Library! The last Thursday of each month we'll meet up (virtually or socially distanced in person) from 3:00pm-5:30pm and chat about the book as well as watch the movie adaptation of the book!

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Can I still be part of book club if I miss the deadline? A: Definitely! You just might have to purchase your own book for that month!
Q: Can my mom also join? A: Sure, if your mom is a student, faculty, or staff member at WGTC - she can join, if not, no. You must be a member of the WGTC community to be part of the WGTC Book club at this time.
Q: Wait, so faculty and staff members can be part of this club? A:Yes! They can be! However, they are responsible for getting their own book. Free books are only available to WGTC student members. If you're faculty or staff, we hope you'll still read with us even though you don't get a free book!
Q: Do I have to sign up for every month? A: No, but we'd love it if you did! Sign up for whichever months you want to participate.
Q: Can I sign up for all months at the same time? A: SURE! But all books may not be available until closer to the date we're starting the book.
Q: What will we talk about when we discuss the book? Do I have to be actively talking to participate? A: Themes, interesting parts, parts that we love/hate and then how we think it will compare to the movie. You can soak up knowledge OR you can share. However you would like to contribute is great, as long as it's respectful.
Q: Why is this called the Diversity Series? A: This semester's WGTC Book club is featuring minority writers and their stories. Each semester will have a different theme.
