Brief Survey: Women in Geospatial Positions
Together, NSGIC (the National States Geographic Information Council) and MAPPS (the U.S. national association of firms in the surveying, spatial data, and geographic information field) are developing GeoWomen. This group was organized to attract more women into GIS careers and promote women's leadership in both government and private sectors.
