You are invited to join Joshua Thomas (Artistic Director of House Party Improv, UCB Graduate, Second City Hollywood performer) who will be teaching Long-form Level 1 over the course of 8 weeks. After a decade in Los Angeles, he is back residing in his home city, where he has run improv shows every week since August 2021 with House Party Improv, and works as a Talent Agent for Bankston Talent Agency by day. He brings his wide education and experience at some of the country's best improv schools and stages to San Antonio performers. This is a great opportunity to kick off the new year by diving into improv!
WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS COURSE?
This class is for people who have little to no improv experience AND ALSO for those who do have experience and even feel they have a good grasp on improv. We will be starting with the essential elements of what makes a good improv scene and expanding from there into an introduction of Long-Form and higher concepts to make sure you have the tools to perform at your highest level!
The lessons taught in this course will help you in:
- Live performances, whether short form/long form improv or stand up
- Auditions (Commercial and Theatrical)
- Even being funny with your friends!

- Price $300.00 (3 hour class once a week for 8 weeks with a graduation show the final weekend.)
Each student will receive a Student ID that will allow them to attend shows and weekly workshops by House Party Improv at Black Potion for free while enrolled in class.

- Each class size will be limited to 16 Students.
- The graduation performance for the course will be Saturday, March 23rd.
