Inspiring Minds’ mission:  Inspiring Minds empowers students to succeed and thrive in school and life by developing trusted relationships with community members who are knowledgeable of the culturally responsive, academic, and socio-emotional needs necessary for student success.

The In-School Tutoring and Mentoring Program places volunteers in classrooms grades Prek-Grade 5 for at least one hour per week.  All volunteers will be placed 1:1 or in small groups with students.  60% of our volunteers need 2 to 3 hour time blocks to satisfy college course requirements.

What is the maximum number of volunteers you want placed with you?
This is important because college students need you to complete an end of semester survey. If you sign up for multiple volunteers, you will need to complete an assessment for each one at the end of the semester.
Please enter the times you are available to host volunteers next to each day; if there are no times on a given day, simply leave it blank.  
The best time to schedule volunteers is when you are planning small group work. Please keep in mind, many volunteers need 2-3 hour blocks of time. The more availability you list, the more likely we'll find a match.  In those blocks, they must do at least one hour of 1:1 or small group tutoring and mentoring with identified students. Around that, they may be with intinerants or breakfast/lunch.
