Expression of Interest Form

The Natural Asset Management Roadmap Program is an opportunity for Canadian local governments to build a high-level natural asset management roadmap that will get them started on integrating natural asset management considerations into their overall asset management practices.

This program is being delivered by the Natural Assets Initiative (NAI) in partnership with Intact Public Entities (IPE) at a heavily subsidized rate for Canadian local governments.

NAI is continuing to accept applications from interested local governments into spring & summer 2024

Eligibility
Local governments in Ontario and Atlantic Canada insured by IPE are able to participate at no cost. All other Canadian local governments may participate at the subsidized rate of $850.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of three (3) staff participating per local government
  • Local elected officials are welcome to participate
  • Very small (>1,000) local governments can include two (2) staff and one (1) elected official
  • Participating staff should be cross-functional, ideally including a finance official or senior administrator, public works or engineering staff, and environmental sustainability of planning staff
  • Small local governments (with populations under 1,000) that collaborate on asset management with neighbouring local governments may apply together to develop a single roadmap.

Please note: Preference will be given to IPE municipal clients located in Ontario & Atlantic provinces. Non-IPE clients should expect to be waitlisted for a maximum period of 3 months and will be accepted into the program after that time, space permitting.

This expression of interest is non-binding on all parties. Space is limited for this program, and preference will be given to those insured by IPE.

NAI will contact local governments to confirm participation.
