Bellingham Erotic Ball Volunteer Application

This is a large fundraising and entertainment event and we need lots of help in many different ways! This is a great way for you to contribute to our new organization, build community, and raise funds to support our mission. We have a team of 12 Coordinators and each of them needs varying degrees of help at different times.

Please sign up for the times you can help out. Also, check the boxes of 2 or more of the Coordinator areas where you would like to help out. That way we can balance out our help.

Some volunteers will be needed in the weeks before the event to prepare, some are needed for set up and tear down on the day of the event, and others for help during the event.

Our Volunteer Coordinator will be reaching out to you soon to match you up with your coordinator! Thanks for being an important part of the success of our fundraising event! We are hosting a volunteer appreciation and social mid November to celebrate all of our volunteers. This event will be a fun way to build up our community and prepare for future BQC events and our Queer Center downtown!

We will assign based on the amount of volunteers, preference, and availability.

Coordinators will need help either in the weeks leading up to the event, the hours before the event with set up, during the event, or cleaning up between 11:30 pm - 11:59 pm. Once you are assigned to a coordinator, let them know your availability.

Security Coordinator - Be an ambassador and support guests during the event.

Entertainment Coordinator - Set up the stage and DJ equipment, support the talent, help with the schedule of events for the mainstage, tear down and load up the equipent

Vendor Coordinator - Help the vendors get set up and organized before and after the event

Food/Drinks Coordinator – Assist with smooth management of food/drinks during the event

Silent Auction Coordinator - Organize silent auction prizes and raffle

Staging / Décor Coordinator - Assemble and prep decor prior to event, set up day of event, break down at end of event

Volunteer Coordinator - Organize and communicate with volunteers to support all coordinators

Sponsorship Coordinator - Assist with organization of outreach to local businesses for sponsorship for the Erotic Ball and Drag Brunch, in the form of financial or in kind contributions, etc...

Contributor Coordinator - Assist with Contributor and Title Sponsor benefits to provide for Contributors and Title Sponsors including a potential private room, drinks, gift bags, coupons, etc
