Applicant Essay Submission Statement: As an applicant to the BRG SORT Class of 2026, the Essay completion portion of the application will be completed on one of the dates provided in person at BRG SORT. The 8 Essay Questions will be provided for you via a given google link on the day and time selected once you arrive. All applicants will be asked to type in the responses to each question into a form and will have 45 mins to complete all questions. Each applicant must complete this step only 1 time in the application year process, no multiple submissions will be allowed. Once completed, the responses will be blinded, each applicant's response will be added to the submitted application, TEAS admissions test results, and other submitted applicant info and all will be blinded so that the admissions process does not include any identifiers (such as gender, names, race, ability status, etc.).
This method of submission of the essay questions is for ease of the process for admissions, application integrity to ensure answers are solely from the applicant, and to review the ability of the applicant to respond and write at a professionally appropriate level in a timed environment.
Please select the appropriate acknowledgement statement regarding the Essay Submissions Requirement for 2024 Application year.
The available date(s) that you plan to complete this requirement at BRG SORT are listed on the website and can be obtained by emailing the program.
To sign up for the dates selected, you must contact Langley Britt via email Lan618@brgeneral.org for the BRG SORT dates selected. These spots are limited and are first come, first served only! There is NO payment due for this portion but the date will be closed 2 weeks prior and email confirmation is required to hold your spot. Otherwise your date is cancelled and the spot is given to the next person on the waitlist.
Confirmation will be sent via email as a reminder with any needed steps to be taken. You will need to bring a digital device (laptop, tablet, IPad with keyboard access, etc) that can access the internet, use Google Chrome or Firefox, has charge/battery power for the time of 1 hour to complete this.
This can be completed the same day as the TEAS Testing day as well, but will be allowed AFTER the completion of the TEAS exam.
