External researchers (regardless of affiliation) are welcome to conduct research in the JCB Reading Room. All external researchers who wish to reserve a shift in our Reading Room will be considered 'short-term visitors' according to Brown University policies, and required to complete this form.

The Library will need to approve this form for all visitors except those with ID’s sponsored by a department or program at Brown.

--  Upon receipt of your request, the JCB library, as the host department, will initiate the University mandated attestation process;
--  You will receive an email asking you to complete a vaccination attestation form affirming that you are fully vaccinated;
--  When the library receives confirmation of your request and approval, we will contact you with information about reserving a research shift and requesting material
