Chuck it for Charity is FSU's student move-out collection drive. We collect all the "stuff" students don't take home with them, weigh and sort it, and donate it to local community organizations in support of their work and the people they help.
Chuck It is quite the logistical undertaking and we need all the help and hands possible! Please consider signing up for a shift or two!
Faculty and staff time spent at Chuck it has been approved by the VPs and HR.
We will be collecting items from all the residence halls in the morning during 5/1-5/4 and sorting items that same afternoon.
AM Shift - 8:15 AM, meet at Einstien's on Woodward. Dress comfortably - will be collecting donated material from the residence halls.
PM Shift - 12:30 PM, meet at FSU's recycling facility (1238 Crate Street). Dress comfortably - we will be sorting donations in a warehouse.
If you have high school-aged students in need of community service hours, please bring them on Saturday! Please have them sign-up here:
