The purpose of this survey is to collect valuable insights from Black mothers to inform our advocacy efforts, guide resource development, and strengthen connections within the community. By understanding the unique needs and experiences of Black mothers, Oshun's Garden aims to enhance access to vital resources, amplify the voices of Black mamas, and foster a supportive network that ensures equitable care and empowerment in the maternal health journey. Additionally, the findings will help make general conclusions and suggestions for future birthing practitioners, improving the quality of care for Black birthing people moving forward.

If you agree to be in this study, your part will be to complete a short survey about your birthing experience.

• This survey will take place online

• The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to respond to, but you are not limited in how long you choose to respond.

• You have the ability to choose to not answer any question or choose to no longer participate in the survey.

• We request that you do not share any identifying information about yourself. 

• You will be asked to select a pseudonym in the event that a direct quote is utilized from your response. If you choose to select a pseudonym, it is encouraged that it has no similarities to your real first, middle, last, or maiden name to protect your identity.

• Your responses will be digitally stored. This is solely to take accurate notes on your answers.
